This is the press release that we faxed out to many of the local media.

A group of ghosts and ghouls will be presenting a haunted house at 36
Ipswich Terrace, Morgan's Grant, Kanata on Halloween.  The doors open
from 5-8pm. Children of all ages are welcome.  Admission is free,
although donations for Unicef will be gladly accepted.  Pictures and

We contacted several newspapers (e.g. The Ottawa Citizen, and The Ottawa Sun), radio stations (e.g. CBC Radio, Chez106, The Bear, and Y105), and TV stations (e.g. CBC, CHRO, CJOH). Of all those, we got a call from CBC Radio and a visit from CHRO. CBC Radio said they would have come to see us if we had been ready on Friday to show them the haunted house (they do stories about this sort of thing on their morning shows during the week). CHRO "The New RO" actually sent out a news team to interview us and get some footage of the inside of our haunted house. A guy with a Global camera also came, but he didn't talk to us, and only followed a few people through.

In the end we got a quick piece done on us as a part of the evening 11pm news on CHRO. We'll make an mpeg movie of this available when we can.
